My trainer for this class was Dave. Heading into the class I had a pretty simple goal which was just to learn how to control the brew variables in a filter coffee environment and then anything else would be a bonus. Fortunately for me, there was a wealth of bonuses. While Dave can explain in detail everything from the history of coffee varieties, through to the differences in processing methods, roasts, grinding, brewing, and enjoying your cup, it is through his indirect coffee interests that a unique and interesting perspective is brought to the class - to not only explain how we can brew a great coffee but also the external factors that can elevate or lower our satisfaction as we drink it.

This was a gift to my husband for his birthday. He loves good quality coffee and taking extra time on the weekend to brew a wonderful cup. He loved this experience and found the session informative when looking at some of the science behind brewing coffee. Thanks Ona!
