This course was great. Very well organised, great facilities, very well laid out and great coaching from Chris.
I found it very beneficial and the things I picked up where put to the test the next day when darling had her friends come over for coffee. Cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites espresso all where put to the test. Followed what I leant and the feedback I got was they were all very surprised and happy with what I served up.
Thanks a lot Chris and Ona Fyshwick, will only build on what I have learnt and improve my game.
The "Foundation Barista Training Course" (using home-machine) was VERY useful. The course focused on the basics for achieving a consistent and acceptable home-made-espresso, with clear guidelines and techniques demonstrated and articulated. I won't pretend that the course has suddenly improved my home coffee, but at least I now understand many of the variables, and I know how and what I should be aiming for. I AM applying the principles learned, and my coffee quality is a 'work in progress'. Thanks!

The real "tell" of quality is not just the passion and enthusiasm for coffee and helping others to get their skills up scratch, but when you come home, notice the improvements and build on it.
My home coffee has improved again since coming home and now I can recognise how to improve further.
